Super Disease Resistance Means Huge Yields on this Old Reliable! Celebrity is a classic favorite for large, 8-oz. fruits that refuse to crack and keep coming over a long season! There's no reason to grow a mushy, tasteless tomato. You can buy those at the grocery store. Home gardeners demand top quality and flavor when it comes to the tomatoes they grow. Sure, disease resistance is important and good production is nice; but the real reason most folks grow tomatoes is to harvest tomatoes "like grandma used to grow."    70 days. An AAS winner and long-time favorite of Park customers, Celebrity is a superior all-around tomato with such fantastic disease resistance you can put away the sprays and soaps for good! These determinate plants are exceptionally strong, bearing masses of smooth, round, bright red tomatoes. Weighing about 8 ounces, they're very uniform (no green shoulders here!) and resist cracking.    The plant is resistant to or tolerant of the following tomato diseases: Verticillium Wilt, Fusarium Wilt races 1 and 2, Nematodes, and Tobacco Mosaic Virus.    Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Plant outdoors when danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55 degrees F.
